Bonnie J. Singer, President Ms. Singer
provides counsel to domestic and international companies on
a wide range of legislative and public policy issues. She
has represented private sector companies and public institutions
in joint ventures related to unique patented research based
technology initiatives. In this regard, Ms. Singer has assisted
clients in identifying commercial, private foundation and
federal contract opportunities to support the development
of high-tech R&D infrastructure projects nationwide. With
over sixteen years of experience working as government relations
and corporate counsel, she has developed excellent working
relationships with key industry executives, federal agency
officials and federally funded research laboratories. Clients
have included defense contractors, large manufacturing organizations,
major aircraft companies, universities, community colleges,
school districts, municipalities, transit companies, and health
care providers.
Prior to forming Washington Alliance Group, Ms. Singer's
work in the private sector included representing a major London
based insurance carrier and asset based lenders in corporate
finance transactions. As advisory attorney to the Federal
Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation, she was responsible
for formulating policy on regulatory issues affecting the
savings and loan industry. Previously, as counsel to the U.S.
Department of Energy, Ms. Singer reviewed findings by the
Economic Regulatory Administration with respect to oil and
gas price violations.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University
of California at Berkeley and has a law degree from Georgetown
University.
